Hey guys, welcome to my first post! Today I'm going to be talking about my first thrifting experience ever in DC, and that is Eastern Market. Every week, Eastern Market has an open air market like nothing I've ever seen before. I had a wonderful time walking through the endless tents of art, jewelry, clothes, and more. What I was most impressed with was the thrift stands.
The first stand I stopped by was Whitco Vintage. This tent has the largest variety of cute sweaters, sweatshirts and button ups of anywhere else in Eastern Market. When thrifting I always find myself gravitating to the men's shirts but never finding anything that is both in the size I want and that I like. Here, however, I found a lot of tops I liked and almost every other shirt on the rack fit me a little oversized, which is how I wanted them. I ended up settling on getting a purple button up, which ended up being $25. At a normal thrift store this price might discourage me from buying the item, but since the shop's selection was so good I didn't mind because the experience was so enjoyable.
